Activity Details
Cambirela is located in the municipality of Palhoça. To reach the summit, we hike 3.9 km uphill, with an elevation gain of approximately 900 meters. The entire route lies within Parque Estadual da Serra do Tabuleiro. From the summit, there are beautiful views across the entire region. From below, this giant can also be seen from many points throughout the region, which is why it has long served as an important landmark. We offer this activity during the mountain season, from April to September.

Your reservation will be confirmed upon advance payment of 25% of the total cost of the activity. The balance must be paid at least 7 days before the activity takes place. For reservations made less than 7 days in advance, full payment is required.

Cancellation by the Customer
Cancellations made 7 days or more in advance will be fully refunded.
For cancellations made between 7 days and 24 hours before the activity, 25% of the total amount will be retained.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance or failure to show up for the activity will not be refunded, subject to the rights provided by law.
Cancellation by Família na Trilha
If the activity is canceled by Família na Trilha due to weather conditions that compromise safety, access difficulties, operational issues, or other circumstances that prevent it from being conducted safely, the customer may choose to reschedule or receive a full refund of the amounts paid.

We hike the Cambirela Trail between April and September, a period when temperatures are generally more suitable for a long, physically demanding hike, with fewer snakes and less variation in weather conditions. Whether the hike takes place also depends on weather conditions, which are assessed before departure.
How does the private hike up Cambirela with “Família na Trilha” work?
The activity is conducted exclusively with your group and led by a professional guide. The pace and stops are tailored to the participants and the conditions encountered during the hike. The guided tour includes safety planning, individual insurance, and interpretation of the landscape, the Atlantic Forest, and the Greater Florianópolis region. From the top of Cambirela, when visibility is good, you can enjoy a sweeping view of the region.
Can children hike the Cambirela Trail?
Participation depends on the child’s age, experience, physical fitness, and independence. Since the Cambirela Trail is long, has significant elevation changes, and includes sections of rock climbing, we evaluate each case before booking. For children and teens with hiking experience and good physical fitness, the activity may be feasible, always taking into account the conditions on the day of the hike and the safety of the trail.
