Activity Details
The trail begins at Fortaleza da Barra and covers a total distance of about 2 km through Atlantic Forest in an advanced stage of regeneration. At the top, in addition to the incredible views of Praia da Galheta, Praia Mole, Praia do Gravatá and Lagoa da Conceição, several groups of rock formations give the place a remarkable energy. Studies suggest possible alignments between these rock formations and sunrise or sunset during periods such as solstices and equinoxes. It is a place to sit, take in the scenery and enjoy the atmosphere, making it even more special on a full-moon night.

The booking date will be confirmed upon advance payment of 25% of the total activity price. The remaining balance must be paid no later than 7 days before the activity. For bookings made less than 7 days in advance, full payment is required.

Cancellation by the customer
Cancellations made 7 days or more before the activity will receive a full refund.
For cancellations made between 7 days and 24 hours before the activity, 25% of the total amount will be retained.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the activity, or failure to attend, are non-refundable, without prejudice to any rights provided by law.
Cancellation by Família na Trilha
If the activity is cancelled by Família na Trilha due to weather conditions that may compromise safety, access difficulties, operational issues or other circumstances that prevent the activity from being carried out safely, the customer may choose between rescheduling or receiving a full refund of the amounts paid.

During the activity, we use these different interpretations to observe the site, raise questions and understand the difference between evidence, hypotheses and beliefs associated with Dólmen da Oração.
Can children do the Dólmen da Oração Trail?
Yes. The Dólmen da Oração Trail can be an interesting experience for children, especially because of its short distance and the large rock formations found along the way. As there are uphill sections and stretches of uneven terrain, we assess the child’s age, independence and experience before the activity. For younger children, we have a special child carrier backpack available for rental. It can be used by children who can already sit independently and weigh up to 22 kg.

Dólmen da Oração is located on Morro da Galheta, in the Lagoa da Conceição area of Florianópolis. In addition to the rock formations that give the activity its name, the hike offers different viewpoints over the landscape of eastern Santa Catarina Island. From above, you can see the beaches of Galheta, Mole and Gravatá.
