Activity Details
A small beach with crystal-clear waters, Praia do Gravatá is located between Lagoa and Praia Mole and can only be reached via a trail. The out-and-back hike totals 5 km.
The area is surrounded by natural beauty, with several natural lookouts from which you can admire the entire surroundings: Morro da Oração, Lagoa da Conceição, Praia Mole, and Galheta.
Due to its location, the spot is also frequently used by fishermen to observe schools of fish, which is why the trail is known as Caminho dos Pescadores (Fishermen’s Trail).
At Ponta do Gravatá, you can see a curious wave-shaped rock formation.

Your reservation will be confirmed upon advance payment of 25% of the total cost of the activity. The balance must be paid at least 7 days before the activity takes place. For reservations made less than 7 days in advance, full payment is required.

Cancellation by the Customer
Cancellations made 7 days or more in advance will receive a full refund.
For cancellations made between 7 days and 24 hours before the activity, 25% of the total amount will be retained.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance or failure to show up for the activity will not be refunded, except as provided by law.
Cancellation by Família na Trilha
If the activity is canceled by Família na Trilha due to weather conditions that compromise safety, access difficulties, operational issues, or other circumstances that prevent its safe conduct, the customer may choose to reschedule or receive a full refund of the amounts paid.

Where is Gravatá Beach, and how do you get there?
Gravatá Beach is located east of Florianópolis and is accessible via a trail. The route passes through areas of vegetation and overlooks before reaching the beach, which is small and surrounded by the natural landscape of Santa Catarina Island. Since there is no direct access by car, Gravatá tends to be less crowded than the more urbanized beaches in the region.
Can children hike the Gravatá Beach Trail?
Yes. The Gravatá Trail can be a good option for families with children who are already able to walk on their own. The out-and-back route is approximately 5 km and includes uphill and downhill sections as well as uneven terrain. For younger children, we have a special child carrier backpack available for rent, suitable for children who can already sit up on their own and weigh up to 22 kg.
Is it possible to go swimming at Gravatá Beach?
Yes. After the hike, there’s usually time to enjoy Gravatá Beach and go swimming, provided the ocean conditions are suitable. Since this is a private tour, we can adjust the amount of time spent at the beach according to the group’s pace and interests.
Is it possible to return by boat from Gravatá Beach?
No. There is no regular boat service back from Gravatá Beach, so you must return via the trail itself. It’s important to keep this in mind when planning your trip, since the entire route—including the return trip—must be covered on foot.
