Activity Details
Lagoinha do Leste is a beach located in the south of Santa Catarina Island, accessible only by trail or boat. The hike includes different levels of difficulty, alternating between uphill and downhill sections and more technical stretches. Along the route, we pass rocky shores, Atlantic Forest, restinga vegetation and the lagoon that gives the beach its name.

Activity price for groups of 1 to 4 people. Please contact us for larger groups.
The booking date will be confirmed upon advance payment of 25% of the total activity price. The remaining balance must be paid no later than 7 days before the activity. For bookings made less than 7 days in advance, full payment is required.

Tour guide registered with the Brazilian Ministry of Tourism, certified in wilderness first aid by Wilderness Medical Associates and Escola de Aventura;
Guides authorized by the Municipality of Florianópolis;
We may be able to offer a ride from central Florianópolis;

Hiking activities with a Safety Management System based on ISO 21101.

Cancellation Policy:
Cancellation by the customer
Cancellations made 7 days or more before the activity will receive a full refund.
For cancellations made between 7 days and 24 hours before the activity, 25% of the total amount will be retained.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the activity, or failure to attend, are non-refundable, without prejudice to any rights provided by law.
Cancellation by Família na Trilha
If the activity is cancelled by Família na Trilha due to weather conditions that may compromise safety, access difficulties, operational issues or other circumstances that prevent the activity from being carried out safely, the customer may choose between rescheduling or receiving a full refund of the amounts paid.

Is the Lagoinha do Leste Trail difficult?
The Lagoinha do Leste Trail requires good physical fitness and attention on some sections. On our route, we first continue to Morro da Coroa. The descent from Morro da Coroa to Lagoinha do Leste Beach is quite steep and can become slippery, making it one of the sections that requires the most care. After the beach, the return to Pântano do Sul begins with approximately 1 km of uphill hiking, followed by about 1.4 km of descent. Before booking, we assess the profile and experience of the participants to determine whether this route is suitable for the group.

Is it possible to swim at Lagoinha do Leste Beach and in the lagoon?
Yes. Once you reach Lagoinha do Leste, you can enjoy both the beach and the lagoon. We particularly enjoy swimming in the lagoon, which is usually a great way to rest after the descent from Morro da Coroa. Swimming in the ocean always depends on sea conditions on the day of the activity.
Is it possible to return by boat?
During the summer season, it may be possible to return by boat, depending largely on sea and weather conditions. The boat is not included in the activity price, and its availability cannot be guaranteed in advance.
Can children do the Lagoinha do Leste Trail?
Yes, but Lagoinha do Leste is a demanding trail, and participation should be assessed according to the child’s age, independence, experience and physical fitness. Children who are used to hiking can enjoy the route a lot. For younger children, we can assess in advance the possibility of using our special child carrier backpack, available for rental for children who can already sit independently and weigh up to 22 kg. As the descent from Morro da Coroa to the beach is steep, this assessment needs to take into account the characteristics of each family and the trail conditions on the day.
